As our new Executive Operations and Office Experience Manager, Maggie Goldman will bring her passion for creating great experiences to the role in two interconnected ways: helping expand the capacity of Fathom's executive leadership team and ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors (or joins us virtually) feels welcome and set up to do their best.
Maggie grew up in Northfield, Minnesota, but her worldview expanded considerably during extended travel and study in southern France. Then, studying international relations at the University of British Columbia gave her a framework for understanding how culture shapes perspective. But rather than putting her interests and experiences to use abroad, she brought them home to Minnesota.
Since then, Maggie's focus has been on supporting multiculturalism locally and building inclusive environments. That philosophy carried into her early career at a cooperative consulting firm, where she supported associations and nonprofits and got a firsthand look at what it means to do work in service of community rather than just the bottom line.
"From the moment we met Maggie, it was clear she understands something fundamental about how people work together," says Kate McRoberts, CEO and Managing Principal. “Her help with our operations and office experience will enable Fathom team members and clients do their best, human-centered work together.”
Outside of work, Maggie is the person her friend group calls the gatherer — the one showing up with homemade cookies or pulling together a last-minute art night. She's a Master Gardener volunteer, drawn to the program for its science-backed approach to horticulture and its commitment to making green spaces accessible to everyone. She's happiest on her bike and is working toward her first century ride.
Welcome to Fathom, Maggie! Connect with her on LinkedIn.
